ISSA Industry Association Meeting Sets Tone for ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam

February 3, 2012 — ISSA recently hosted the first-ever meeting of its European partners on January 19, 2012, at the Amsterdam RAI in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The objective for the meeting was for members to discover more about cleaning industries in different countries directly from their international peers—learning first-hand from their experiences and finding unique solutions to the unique challenges they all face within their own markets.

Those who presented at the meeting included representatives from ISSA, as well as representatives from ISSA-member and partner associations from various nations throughout the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region including: Matisz (Hungary), PIGC (Poland), Ou Puhastusekspert (Estonia), CAC (Czech Republic), Amsterdam RAI (Netherlands), Jangro (United Kingdom), and RCCA (Russia).

“The meeting was a huge success, with all attendees showing plenty of enthusiasm and a pleasing willingness to share industry expertise from a variety of different national markets and collectively brainstorm new approaches or answers to specific situations or issues,” ISSA Director of European Services Keith Baker said. “As ISSA is a worldwide organisation, its members can take advantage of its many global resources, including the unique expertise and knowledge of members from different markets.”

The meeting also addressed the seminar programme to be held during ISSA/INTERCLEAN® Amsterdam, May 8-11, 2012. This series of educational and highly topical seminars will address the many changes and developments emerging within the cleaning industry and the importance of the industry in the 21st century. The programme will also include a number of panel debates and roundtable sessions, providing the opportunity for discussions with like-minded peers on the most important and challenging issues facing the industry worldwide.

“This association meeting proved to be a great taster for what promises to be the best-ever seminar programme at the forthcoming ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam,” Baker added.
